I am getting ready to go to Grenfell for the first time. I race Senior National Light. I was wondering if anyone could give me a basic sprocket setup for this class for Grenfell. Thanks.

As accommodation will probably be in short supply can we camp at the track. Will the track be open the Friday before the meeting for practice or will the grounds be open so we can set up for Sat / Sun. Are we required to pre-enter or can it be done on the day? regards ARE

I'll let everyone know that there is a possibility we may not be racing at Grenfell on the Southern Zone weekend due to lack of accommodation. As soon as it is confirmed either way, the information will be mailed out and posted on the website.

as it a southern zone round, there is no practice on friday. Practice is normally 2 to 3 runs on the Saturday morning, then carbie around 11am

We are postponing this round. The only other date Grenfell has is 17th November. Problem is, that's a Saturday, so there'd be no chance to practice on the weekend.
Would members be happy with this, or should we be looking at another venue for a similar date?

Thanks for the information about grenfell. It is a bit disapointing not to go but understandable under the circumstances. The meeting in November at Grenfell is OK by me. For mind the only other option is a closer track to Sydney which may attract more interest by Goulburn members. I don't mind the Saturday thing at Grenfell because I can go down on the Friday afternoon, stay friday and Saturday nights and drive around to some of the wineries near Cowra on Sunday, (but that is just me). I hope other goulburn members will post replies on what they wish to do ASAP so the club can organise a good successful meeting.

Yes Sat 17th Nov sounds fine - would be happy to support a country club, but posting dates then chopping and changing is only going to confuse and annoy what existing members we have left,if this happens on a regular basis we may not attract new members only drive existing ones away.I know it is early days at the moment with the club becoming a drivers club but who thought of the dates for Grenfell and Canberra as we know they are for large meetings and accommodation will be in short supply? Are we not going to have the same problem in Canberra when the Canberra cup is on as far as organising and logistics are concerned? regards ARE

The Canberra date is confirmed, that will not change.
Yes, it's not ideal to post dates up then change them. That's why no new dates have been posted on the website. I wanted to gauge what you guys thought of racing at Grenfell on a Saturday before we confirm that date.
I'll keep you up to date with what's happening via the forum.
